In a thick smoky environment, being able to see victims and contructions of the fire is a firefighter priority.

With significant experience in firefighting equipment, TEMPEST decided to design and manufacture its own infrared portable thermal imaging camera to better respond to search and rescue and firefighting challenges.

Sensitive to infrared radiation, these thermographic cameras for firefighters have been designed with robust materials perfectly adapted to difficult rescuer working conditions: high temperatures, smoke, etc.

The PARTNER and VECTOR portable fire monitors can be deployed quickly when the situation requires. Thanks to the use of aluminum, the fire monitor is light and compact once folded away. Each firefighting monitor has a single-flow, selectable, or automatic monitor nozzle. To optimize deployment, just one person is needed for setup, and it is easy to store in the fire engine due to its compact size. Equipped with four stainless steel feet, each portable firefighting monitor is entirely stable on the ground in all circumstances.

For increased autonomy, the PARTNER – intended for the most demanding firefighters – has an oscillating monitor option. The horizontal rotation and elevation angles have been optimized to adapt to the operational constraints of the field.

Finally, the high-quality wide spray jet on the monitor nozzle ensures effective protection if needed.

Faced with increasingly frequent electrical risks linked to illegal connections, the Leader VOLT electricity detector can be used to secure a working zone in all circumstances without any contact. With several sensitivity modes, this voltage detector immediately indicates the risk of alternating current through an audio and visual alarm.

Through its directional detection technology, it can also be used to locate the potential source of risk and therefore secure the working zone.

Light and autonomous, thanks to its battery powered supply, the Leader VOLT current detector keeps the user informed throughout the mission.

The range is completed with the MVU (Mobile Ventilation Unit) with a flow of 150,000 cfm. For explosive atmospheres, TEMPEST offers a sucking and blowing confined Space fans to remove dangerous gases securely and quickly, thanks to its 3200 cfm or the 11,804 cfm airflow from the High-Performance model. Each fire blower/fan manufactured by TEMPEST has been carefully inspected and tested to ensure very rapid room pressurization using Positive Pressure Ventilation (PPV). The perfectly balanced power of TEMPEST firefighting fans unquestionably provides an operational advantage to firefighters. Firefighting Ventilation Blowers are split into five categories:

  1. Battery Blowers/fans
  2. Electric Power Blowers/fans
  3. Gas Powered Power Blowers/fans
  4. Hydraulic Mobile Ventilation Units (MVU)
  5. Smoke Ejectors
  6. Water Power Blowers

TEMPEST blowers range from air-flows of 3,200 to over 150,000 Cubic Feet per Minute (CFM), guaranteeing real efficiency during each rescue, attack, protection, or smoke removal operation, with easy setup.

To best adapt to different specific operational situations, like booster ventilation, TEMPEST also offers a range of battery-powered blower/fans which can be easily carried by a single firefighter. This battery-powered range of blowers is also perfect for PPV/PPA due to the high CFM output and battery life. Compact and self-contained they can work closely to the fire, providing a flow of around 11,000 C for 70 minutes.
